What is it that makes leisurely spinning around in a carousel so much fun? Is it the peek-a-boo aspect of the ride? The gentle wind that caresses your face as you go around and around? We can't deny that there is something magical about a merry-go-round, especially as the sun starts to set and the night time sky starts to fall. At night, the mood changes for carefree, childlike fun to something more romantic, more nostalgic. Couples take turns chasing each other on the horses as the city around them softly blurs by. Passersby sit nearby, mesmerised by its sparkling revolutions.
